In March 2020, Protec Recycling is adding new services!
Thanks to our many customers who appreciate Protec’s e-waste and data destruction services, we’ve grown year by year, adding more capabilities and services.
Now, Protec takes another big step by adding two sought after recycling services:
Trusted to deal confidentially in the destruction of electronic data, Protec now offers a more comprehensive level of recycling for our commercial, healthcare, and legal clients. Protec works with you according to your needs and schedule.
Our fully equipped, state-of-the art trucks and expertly trained team members are equipped to collect materials and securely shred hard drive and paper on-site at clients’ facilities.
Whether you are at the end of a document retention period or have records that have been digitized and require confidential disposal, we can provide certified services in dealing with obsolete files. Protec’s on-site services are compliant with privacy laws such as HIPAA, COPPA, FCRA. We issue a Certificate of Destruction for your records.
Our personnel are experienced in systematic compliance and providing an audit trail of destroyed client records. It’s important to our clients that we are a reliable, local service that can be counted to accomplish our mission with no security short cuts. We’re also on-time and friendly.
Landfills are no place for outdated X-Rays. X-Ray film is composed mainly of Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET) plastic and is coated with silver, creating a highly reactive and flammable artifact. X-rays are also private health records, and it is illegal to simply toss them into the trash.
At Protec Recycling, we provide experienced and comprehensive X-Ray recycling, addressing both the toxic material aspect and the personal privacy concerns regarding these ubiquitous medical records.
Remember, Protec works with ALL electronics and peripherals. Even an old multi-function printer may store sensitive data and should be recycled rather than trashed. Protec Recycling works with PCs, servers, laptops, tablets, phones, printers, cables, and peripherals.
At Protec Recycling, located in Homewood, Alabama, we make it our business to be a part of the solution to electronic waste. We do this by offering our customers environmentally sustainable, cost effective, and confidential disposal of their electronic assets.
